Thinking Tonight about Katrina's Effects

I sing with the Sweet Adeline organization, and our international competition is scheduled for the Superdome in New Orleans October 4-8. I'm amazed and awed by the destruction I'm watching on MSNBC today in the wake of Katrina. It kind of gives me a new perspective on what's really important. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the storm.

Thanks,

I was working in Baton Rouge last week, and made a few friends that are on my mind as I end my day.

We're all on the same team here, and I trust it means something when our thoughts go out in these positive, uplifting ways.

Thanks for your comments, Zosimo and Jason. Even though Katrina was downgraded from a 5 to a 4 (which is very thankful), it still doesn't discredit the devastation that did happen. I'm definitely sending out love and light to those who must go back to flooded homes and an altered way of being today.
